Trainer Davy Fitzgerald said afterwards that he has never had the horse so well and the fact that he was leaning towards taking on the really big guns in Thursday's totesport Bowl hints at just what sort of regard he is held. Trying to defy a mark of 154 in this contest looks much less taxing and he gets the vote to see off some in-form rivals who have been operating at lower levels.
