SEDGEFIELD: 2.00 Theatre Bell, 2.30 Osolomio, 3.00 Turbo Shandy, 3.30 Strathaird, 4.05 Yankee Holiday, 4.40 Standandbecounted, 5.10 Thunderwing.
DOUBLE: Heaven Knows and St Jean Cap Ferrat.
William Haggas decided not to run Heaven Knows in the Lincoln at the weekend and that decision can pay dividends in the Easter Holiday Handicap at Pontefract.
Owned by Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum the five-year-old is very lightly-raced, having had only 11 runs in his career to date.
However, he has won four of those starts which gives him an impressive strike-rate.
Two starts back in October he won a competitive 10 furlong handicap at Newbury and he was not disgraced in coming home in sixth behind Malt Or Mash in the November Handicap on his final start.
That came over a mile and a half but all his better form is over 10 furlongs, which is the distance of this race.
Geoff Wragg likes sending a few select runners up north and his St Jean Cap Ferrat looks worth following in the High-Rise Median Auction Maiden Stakes.
Named after Luca Cumani's Derby winner, who won at Pontefract before going on to Epsom glory, it will be a huge surprise if any in this field are that good.
However, Wragg's charge finished a close fourth behind Group One winner Ibn Khaldun on his second start, form which would be good enough to claim a race of this nature.
Another Bottle was bought by Sir Robert Ogden as a potential smart performer over hurdles but despite being in the care of Paul Nicholls, it never quite worked out for him.
A lot was said about his attitude over timber but the fact may have been that he just did not quite stay two miles.
Now in the care of John Quinn, he reappears in the Dalby Stand Handicap and first time up could just be the time to catch him.
Dansimar has taken very well to the winter game for Venetia Williams, winning twice from two outings at Wincanton and Chepstow.
This Daylami filly is patently a useful recruit and should have no trouble in maintaining her unblemished hurdling record in Fontwell's Docker Hughes Memorial Mares Only Novices' Hurdle.
Chris Grant could not have his runners in better form. Three winners and a second from his small string last week proves they are still in great nick and Turbo Shandy can improve that record.
The five-year-old was second at Catterick behind an unexposed sort last time and showed himself to be at the top of his game.
The Sendrig Construction Beginners' Chase at Sedgefield certainly looks winnable and he can continue the former jockey's great run.
