Spurs fans are in a state of disarray about the performances of their star winger Gareth Bale. The most exciting player to watch in the Premier League this season has made himself favourite to be the PFA Player of Year with Paddy Power slashing his odds to 8/13.

However, his goal tally and dominance for Tottenham has also put him in the shop window for clubs across Europe and the bookmaker has given odds of 11/8 on Real Madrid being Bale's next permanent club.

Ever since he tortured Inter Milan two seasons ago in the Champions League Madrid have been linked with the winger and speculation is only set to increase with Real struggling in the League and Bale putting in performances like he did on Monday night at Upton Park. If the Welsh Wizard does believe his future lies away from White Hart Lane then it won't just be Madrid lining up as a potential suitor.

Manchester United are odds of 5/2 to be his next permanent club with the Pep Guardiola powered Bayern Munich coming in as third favourites at odds of 6/1. Carlo Ancelotti's PSG, European Champions Chelsea, and Spanish League leaders Barcelona are all at odds of 12/1 to be Bale's next destination.

The consistency of the Welshman this season has meant that he is firm favourite for the PFA Player of Year at 8/13 with Robin Van Persie as second favourite at 6/4 and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez at odds of 25/1. Bale currently has odds of 25/1 to scoop the coveted Ballon D'or but these are sure to shorten should his form continue.

Paddy Power said: "We sympathise with Spurs fans who must be half hoping Bale reins it in abit and plays more like Adebayor for the rest of the season. Although it would be a shame to see him leave the Premier League the prospect of a Bale/Ronaldo combo at Real Madrid has world domination written all over it."
